Amuri Squash Club

Amuri Squash Club Amuri Squash Club is the local squash courts located in the Amuri School grounds behind the gymnasium. We are located behind the gymnasium at Amuri Area School.

Amuri Squash Club is a really strong club with our membership numbers growing every year. We have 3-4 teams entered in the Open Hurunui Interclub competition on Tuesday nights and 2 teams entered in the Women's/Youth Hurunui Interclub competition on Wednesday nights through Winter. We offer kids coaching during term 2, the success of this meant we were able to have a Junior grade at our club champ

s last year for the first time in many years. We also organise coaching clinics at Amuri Squash Club with Squash Coach Tim McVie to provide coaching opportunities for all club members. Join us for our annual Masters tournament taking place on the first weekend in September - enter on MySquash.

Kicking off on Friday, September 4th we promise it will be a great weekend of squash and lots of fun on and off the court.

And when play wraps up on Saturday, it's time to swap your squash shoes for a costume!

Whether you are a legendary hero, iconic villain, or a classic character from the big screen, we want to see your best movie-inspired outfit.
