Kaiora Downs Mats Created with an ethos of minimal impact, we have simply washed, dyed & felted 100% NZ wool, almost as untouched as nature intended to be.

Kaiora Downs Mats was born out of the love of wool and keeping things local

We have designed these products to add value to your lifestyle, through the grounding and nurturing properties of wool In line with keeping it local; the wool was grown & shorn on our property in the Amuri Basin, and all the processing was done within the Canterbury region. Our vision for this product is cyclical: when yo

ur mat has reached the end of its life it can be up-cycled to be used as pet-bedding, or weed mats and eventually composted back into the earth. The mats have latex product on the back to prevent slipping.
