It was the right call to cancel racing today due to the high winds, but the costs of running an event like the South Island Titles remain - and NAC also missed out on revenue from the club shop and our amazing vendors who couldn’t serve coffees, food, cold drinks, and ice creams.

🚨 RACING CANCELLED – SAFETY DECISION 🚨

Due to weather conditions, all racing for today has been CANCELLED.

There will be NO alternative date for the South Island Titles.
This decision has been made in the interest of rider, volunteer, and official safety.

🏆 Prize Giving WILL still go ahead at 10:00am
Please make your way to the venue if you are collecting awards.

Thank you to everyone for your understanding. Safety must always come first.

☀️ South Island Titles – Sunday Schedule ☀️
We’re back for Day 2 at North Avon Christchurch BMX Club, and it’s going to be another hot one! Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Gates open: 6:30 AM – Gold coin donation to the Lions for parking
✅ Practice starts: 7:00 AM (in groups – see event schedule for details)
✅ NAC Shop open: 7:00 AM with EFTPOS available
🍳 Same tasty menu as yesterday: bacon butties, BLTs, egg & bacon sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and toasties all day!
☕ Coffee Vice & Coffee Skills on-site to keep you fueled
🥟 Kung Fu Dumplings from 10:30 AM for a lunchtime treat
🏁 Racing starts: 10:00 AM
Stay sun smart and hydrated – bring plenty of water and sunscreen!
