Southern Leyland Lads In March/April 2027 Jase and Marty will join 49 other teams in New Zealand to drive minis from Paihia to Invercargill in the Pork Pie Charity Run.

This event raises money for Life Flight, a charity that provides free emergency aeromedical care across NZ.

We had an awesome drive to Haast yesterday via Middlemarch and the Ida Valley. Great weather until the Gates of Haast. I even managed 7866 steps on my watch without hardly walking a step. The joys of a classic bumpy ride. It’s now time to drive back home.

It’s time to take the mini on a weekend adventure! Chris Williams and I (Jase) set off this morning to meet up with the Otago Mini Club to watch the sunrise at St Clair. Today we will travel from coast to coast, finishing the day watching the sunset on the West Coast in Haast. Tomorrow we will head home again. What a fun way to spend a weekend!
