Saturday was not to be our day with Queenstown Ladies coming away with the 5-0 win.

The Cromwell side gave it their all to split the QT defenders but we could just not make it to the back of the net.

A super shout out to Kate squared - Kate Hamilton and Barrett on their performance this weekend and coming away with Z Energy player of the day. Kate showcasing her skills in centre mid and Cait making some incredible defensive tackles, while magically appearing out of nowhere to get some defensive play in.

As always, thanks to Checketts McKay Law for their support.

The Cromwell Ladies should be super proud of their performance against a strong Los Independientes FC Ladies side today.

The Cromwell side went in at half time 3-1 down and they held the Wānaka side to a 1 goal second half, with the game finishing 4-1.

To see the growth of these ladies and their confidence building throughout the season is outstanding. So many of these ladies have come back to football after a 20 year break, with some even giving it a go for their first time ever! Everyone on the team always gives it their best and they're always willing to try a new position in order to support their team mates.

Great to see all the hard work being put in at training (thanks to our new coach 🤗) coming to fruition on game day. Yes it was a loss, but our team work and positivity on the day was a win.

Well done to Emma O'Reilly who came away with the Z Energy player of the day for her determination and performance in the goal today.

As always, thanks to our sponsors Checketts McKay Law.

Yesterday the Junction Jennies took on Alexandra United Football Club Women in what can only be described as a nail biting match. The intense game of football ended up 4-3 to the Cromwell Ladies, with goals coming from Cate Lee, Theresa Woessner and Em Lawro.

A special mention to Nancy Catalan Scott who played an outstanding second half! Nancy got her boot in wherever possible and did not stop the hard grafting on the left wing. Her efforts earned her the Z Energy player of the day.

Well done to all involved. What a great bunch of women you all are!

As always, thanks to our sponsors Checketts McKay Law.

Well done to Evie Gerling who came away with Saturday's Z Energy player of the day against a very strong Queenstown side. Evie gave it socks in the defensive line, with great composure coming from the Cromwell College Student.

This weekend we face Wanaka LIFC at Jack's Point with kick off at 12.30. A few bodies short this weekend so it'll be an interesting one.

Well done to our ladies who came away with a very close 1-0 win against the Alexandra United Football Club Women who really put it up to us.

Both teams showed great growth and displayed some fantastic teamwork. The Cromwell ladies have been working so hard on their defensive formations and it paid off on the day.

The girls also worked up the field with some great plays but just unable to get some more finishes in the net due to some outstanding goal keeping from the Alex side.

Our Z Energy player of the day went Lawro Em for her incredible control in the centre of the field and for pulling off some spectacular, clean tackles in times of need. Well done!

The games between these two teams have always been fun but it's great to see both sides taking it up a notch but still smiling at the end of it all!

Thanks as always to our sponsors Checketts McKay Law.
