As well as having thermally heated pools at the resort, our accomodation is a 2 minute walk from the Wairakei Terraces.

At Wairakei Terraces, the pools draw healing properties from silica terraces and geothermal flow from 1.5km underground.

Mud and silica waters found in geothermal areas have long been used by Māori for bathing, healing, and wellness.

After moving to NZ from the Gold Coast, this explosive Brazilian has been taking the NZ competition circuit by storm, and is now ready to call Aotearoa his home, having established his own gym here, a branch of his international Team; Southside BJJ. Renato loves how similar the Kiwi and Brazilian lifestyles are, and you will often find him spending his downtime on the East Coast beaches, hiking, exploring NZ, and always in the company of good friends.
