A big thank you to Rebel Sport NZ and New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) for their contributions to our club.

New Zealand Community Trust has provided the club with funding to help pay for indoor training facilities for our two U16 teams and our year 9 & 10 teams.

Rebel sport has provided funding to help pay for an indoor training space for our senior A, B, C and E teams.

Training indoors means that our teams can train every week without cancellations due to the cold and wet winter weather. Thanks for supporting Hornby Netball ❤️🤍

Our New to Netball programme is the perfect fresh start for Years 3–6 who are new to the game or returning after a break.

🎉 2026 Prize Giving 🎉

Our end of season prize giving will be held on the 29th of August at the Hornby Clubrooms.

10 - 11:30am
Comets, Angels, Firebirds, Stars, Hawks, YR7 and YR8

12:30 - 1:30pm
YR9, YR10, U16 H and U16 I

2:30 - 4pm
A, B, C, D, E, F, G

We ask that all players please bring a plate along with them. The committee will let coaches know what type of plate each team needs to bring.

Parents, players and supporters of Hornby Netball.

A friendly reminder to please be patient while waiting for netball draws from Christchurch Netball.

The team at Christchurch Netball have an enormous job of organising all the netball games around Christchurch while also managing time requests, team requirements and court availability.

As a club let’s show our support by understanding that draws, especially at the start of a new round, can take a little longer. We appreciate everyone's patience and encourage our members to wait for official draw information before making enquiries.
