With a degree and background in Coaching and Strength & Conditioning, Liam knows a thing or two about getting STRONG 💪🏼 He’s taken his own training all the way to competing in Strongman at a national level, with his sights now set on competing overseas! 🔥

But for Liam, it’s not just about lifting heavy, he’s passionate about helping others build confidence, enjoy their training and discover what they’re capable of.

A few things you need to know 👇
🔥 45-minute private sessions
📲 Bookings open Saturday at 2pm via the Anytime Fitness app
📅 Book up to 7 days in advance
✌️ Maximum 2 bookings per week
🩱 Togs or activewear must be worn
🧖 Sweat towel is compulsory, no towel, no sauna!
💧 Bring your drink bottle & stay hydrated
👯 You can bring another Halswell member into your booking
🚿 Private showers available afterwards
💜 And of course… included in your membership at no extra cost!

Meet Sophie 💜

Hey, I’m Sophie, the Club Manager here at Anytime Fitness Halswell!

A little bit about me — I’m originally from Wellington but have called Christchurch home for the last few years after moving down for uni, where I completed my degree in Sport Science. I’ve grown up around sports with water polo, swimming, hockey and surf lifesaving all being a big part of my life.

I’ve always loved how much more a gym can be than just somewhere to train, and I’m so excited to help make AF Halswell a place where everyone feels comfortable, welcome and part of the community.

It’s been so nice meeting so many of you already over the last couple of weeks and seeing the club come to life. I can’t wait to welcome and meet so many more of you through the doors and make AF Halswell a really special place to be! If you see me around the club, come say hi I’d love to chat🤗💜

Originally from the Gold Coast, Tavé has called Christchurch home since she was young. With a background in competitive dance, including national titles in NZ and competing at Australian Championships, she’s no stranger to hard work, discipline and the joy of moving your body.

Now studying Law and Health Science, Tavé is passionate about helping others find an active lifestyle they genuinely enjoy.

You’ll find Tavé in the reception as our Membership Consultant, so make sure you come say hi next time you’re in club! ☺️

Katie is Level 4 Certified in Exercise & Personal Training, Stress Management Exercise Association Endorsed, REPs Registered and First Aid Certified. Her specialties include functional training, strength & hybrid training, working with those new to the gym, and fitness for everyday life.

With a background in Psychology, she’s passionate about helping people feel confident in the gym, build strength, move well, and develop a positive relationship with exercise that lasts. Whether you’re new to training or looking to take your fitness to the next level, Sofia will support you with training that is sustainable, personalised, and built around you.
