What a year. From starting out with a vision of where I was wanting the studio to go to closing the city location 3 months later.

All things happen for a reason, for us not to us.

It’s been a transition but for the most part teaching from home has been nice. Grateful for the clients I have and to those that are travelling to me. I miss seeing everyone in the city…. That’s been one of the hardest parts to be honest. Who knows what 2026 will have in store for me and On Pointe. I’ll put it out there now - pop up barre classes anyone?

I have been very quiet on here post closing the city studio. A lot has been going on behind the scenes & things have just been different. But with a little autumn break & now it’s Term 2 I’m starting (or hoping) to find my flow again!!

Lincoln group classes are busy so bookings essential. Private 1:1’s are filling up so please DM me about making an appointment.

Missing lots of faces & I’ll start reaching out to catch up. Nice to still see some regulars now out in Lincoln (it’s not too bad a commute 😜).

Creating and having a “home” for On Pointe was a dream after spending years driving from hall & dance studios lugging weights, balls & mats.

For the past 8 years I’ve seen many faces come through the doors at the studio. Some have been with me from said halls & dance studios. 🥰

What drives me to keep going? You do. Seeing names & faces repeatedly booking in & showing up brings me so much joy & the drive to keep going, learning & moving forward. Believe me when I say there have been times I’ve wanted to give up, felt like a failure & thought “what’s the point”.

Outside of the studio I’m a home body & love nothing more than being with my family at home sharing a meal, having a laugh or reading a book. I’m a total introvert & love “my people”. This year I’ve also taken the leap to learn something new & with my husband & another couple we have been tap dancing! It’s a challenge & has been rather humbling. 😂

I also love to travel (FYI I’m a travel agent) so when I’m away it’s also “work”. Gaining knowledge & adding more memories. My next trip is to Bali on a retreat with my gal pal & legendary mentor Tracey Mallett, creator of Bootybarre.
