Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to celebrate our 2026 season and recognise the incredible achievements of our senior players!

Where: The Richmond Club – The Borough
Time: Doors open: 6:30pm
Formalities commence: 7:15pm

Dress to Impress! Dresses, Blazers etc.

Tonight Andrew Ross reaches 150 caps for the Musketeers.

Andrew’s leadership and experience has been an incredible asset to the team for years. His commitment to the club cannot be understated, with being a big part of the team’s rise to sustained success. Andrew also use to travel from Timaru for trainings and games, which makes this achievement even greater.

Andrew gives back through his time on the clubs committee, organising umpires, helping connect the playing group to the committee, and spending time with our fun sticks.

He is true champion both on and off the field. Congratulations on the milestone, he’s only the second player to achieve this, truly incredible.

Tonight Emil Collins reaches 100 caps for the Musketeers.

Since Emil’s arrival he has done nothing but excel. With his big time performances in playoff games, coming in clutch during shootouts, and his rise to becoming an internationally capped goal keeper for USA. Not only is he a champion on the field but his presence off it has help build the strong social and family culture our senior players have.

Emil’s commitment extents out into other roles in the club. Goal keepers coaching, working bees, and assisting the committee with social and engagement projects.

Tonight, we celebrate a very special milestone as Lily Lysaght plays her 50th game for the Marist Mermaids in our semi-final against Harewood!

Lily has been an incredible member of the Green Machine since she was just 5 years old, growing up through the club and making such a wonderful contribution along the way.

Her commitment, passion and love for Marist have made her such a valued member of our club, and we are so proud to celebrate this milestone with her!

Come down to Nga Puna Wai tomorrow night and support both our Mermaids and Musketeers as they look to earn themselves the last spot in the CPL Grand Final.

The Mermaids are on turf 1 facing the Harewood Huntresses.

The Musketeers are on Turf 2 facing Carlton Redcliffs.

Both start 7:35pm.

Make sure to wrap up in green and keep warm, and lets cheer them on.

Former Black Stick, and club coach and stalwart Cathy Baker has returned to the Netherlands after last being there when she competed in the World Cup in the 1980’s. She has returned to watch club players who she has mentored and coached over the years as youngsters who are now in both the Men’s and Women’s Black Sticks. Cathy will be at the men’s game this week and the women’s games next week. She caught up with her Marist men after the first game.
