At 53, Angie had spent years putting everyone else first. With four kids at home, a business to run, and constant demands on her time, she found herself slipping further and further down her own priority list. From the outside, everything looked fine - her health markers like blood pressure and cholesterol were all good, and no one would have guessed how much she was struggling. Behind the scenes, Angie had been running on empty for 6–7 years.
She realised she needed more than just a gym—she needed accountability, guidance, and a coach she truly connected with, like to support her every step of the way 🤩
The impact has gone beyond the gym. Angie has reduced her working hours from 70-hour weeks down to a more balanced 45–50 hours, creating space for herself while still running her business. And through her commitment, she has also achieved an incredible 17kg weight loss - but for Angie, the real win is how she feels 🙌🏻
More importantly, she realised that if she didn’t make this change now, it would eventually impact her both physically and mentally in the years to come. This isn’t a short-term fix, it’s a plan for her future and her later years.
Now, she’s setting her sights on new goals, stepping into strength training with a clear target in mind: achieving her first chin-up 💪🏼
Angie’s story is a reminder that it’s never too late to put yourself first and that real change starts when you decide you’re worth the effort 🙌🏻
Congratulations Angie, keep the momentum rolling and we are super grateful to be supporting you on your journey 💛
