University of Canterbury Badminton Club Welcome to UCanBC! This is a place where everyone is welcomed regardless of your badminton background.

We cater to all skill levels from beginners to competitive. Session times for 2024!

General Executive:
Assists the team wherever extra help is required.

First-Year Executive:

Schedule update! 🏸 Our Friday sessions are now 6:45–8:45 PM ($8) and Saturday sessions run 1–4 PM ($10) at UC Rec Centre. (Saturday sessions are at 1.30pm-4.30pm this weekend (21st of March).
This will allow for a smooth transition between bookings.

Hey everyone! 😊

We know everyone’s keen to get on court, but if you arrive early to badminton, please hang out outside the Gymnasium/Sports Hall until a UCanBC Executive member lets everyone in.

There’s another group using the courts right before us, and we want to make sure we’re respecting their booked time and not disrupting their session.

Also, heads up: We’re looking at starting at 6:45pm on Fridays to avoid interfering with earlier rec centre bookings, keep an eye out on future posts for confirmation.

Last 2025 session will be held on Friday (7th) and Saturday (8th) of November at the UC Rec Centre.

Thank you for an incredible year. We loved seeing familiar faces and welcoming new players. It has been an amazing year!
