Our Team of the Week is the SASFC 12th Grade Red, who enjoyed a great game vs Selwyn Utd FC 12 Grey on a stunning Saturday morning at St Albans Park.

Player of the Day went to Jaber for his great ball retention and attacking play, while Coach Josh Coe praised the fantastic team effort right across the pitch.

This week's Team of the Week is the SASFC 10th Grade Blue, who had a great game against Ferrymead Bays Falcons to keep us on our toes on an overcast Saturday morning at St Albans Park.

Player of the Day lollies went to Harry B for his outstanding play and a really good goal in the second half. Coach Alex Kingi-Booth was full of praise for what was a really impressive team performance, showcasing the hard work that's been going on in training this season.

LOST KEYS!

Kia ora koutou, during Saturday morning's games at St Albans Park, on of our members lost their car key, probably somewhere around the Intermediate pitches. It's a black key with orange tape on it, and a tag with the name HAMMONDS.

Kia ora koutou, we hope you've had a good week and are looking forward to your games tomorrow ⚽🌞⚽

You may have seen this rack of clothes outside the pavilion at St Albans Park on previous Saturday mornings. This is lost property that has been accumulating since last season and if you have mislaid any of it yourself, this weekend is your last chance to claim it!

We'll put the rack out again tomorrow, but anything not claimed by 12 noon will be donated to the City Mission, so that we are able to clear the lost property box for the current season.

This week's Team of the Week is the SASFC 13th Girls Blue, who played Waimak United's U13 White girls in an exciting Saturday morning game at St Albans Park.

Our girls were coached by JD Dennen this week and they dominated every part of the game, pressing high to win the ball and moving it around really effectively to keep possession. JD awarded Player of the Day to Flossie for her very direct play and energetic contribution, while the Ford Player of the Month went to Frankie as top goalscorer. Well played, girls!

This week's Team of the Week is the SASFC 17th Grade, who took on Halswell United's 17th Stars in a very close game, with only a disallowed goal in the first half – and the frame of the goal on at least three occasions – separating the teams.

Coach Rob Young praised a big team effort and individual commitment from our players, noting a marked improvement heading into the coming game week, and awarded Player of the Day honours to Sam Young. Well done Sam!
