The 2026 CT Civil New Zealand Off-Road Nationals rolls into Canterbury this Saturday 19th September, in conjunction with the 2026 NZ Stadium Champs, and there are some massive battles shaping up!
🔥 JOHN BUTTLER — CAN HE MAKE IT 3 FROM 3?
Waikato S Class driver John Buttler is fast becoming the man to beat in what has been an outstanding rookie year of National racing.
John arrived at Round 4 in Nelson and made his mark, taking the outright win at the Nelson Ruff N Tuff and becoming the 2026 New Zealand Enduro Champion.
Then it was south to Otago for Round 5 — and he did it again!

Now we arrive at Round 6 in Canterbury.
Can John make it THREE NATIONAL ROUND WINS FROM THREE? Or will the short, fast stadium racing finally break his winning streak?

North Island racer Noah Hutchison is heading south looking for redemption after an unlucky run at Nelson, where a front-end failure took him out of the race early.
But Canterbury isn’t going to make life easy for him.
Waiting on home soil is Tim Culling — a seriously fast hometown driver who is no stranger to winning and knows how to get the job done.
Hutchison vs Culling — North Island vs hometown advantage. With the NZ Stadium Championship also on the line, expect the Open Class racing to be close, fast and hard-fought!
