The owners of this Insulated Bermuda pool love having it as a standout feature of the property, seamlessly integrated into a timber deck and positioned to maximise the uninterrupted views across Akaroa Harbour.

This Richmond Hill project above Sumner challenged us with tight access, narrow spaces, retaining walls, and hairpin roads — but the result is something special.

Using a 10m Bermuda Lap Pool, we transformed an unused strip of lawn into a stunning year-round swimming space with panoramic views from the Alps to the Pacific Ocean.

Nothing better than seeing a project fully completed 🌴💦

This week we had the opportunity to visit one of our customers whose pool we installed at the end of last year, and it was fantastic to see the finished result now that all the landscaping has been completed.

This beautiful setup features our Bermuda Senator 10 Swimming Pool in the stunning Maldives colour, perfectly complemented by the surrounding outdoor space. The finished landscaping has really brought the whole area together, creating an incredible backyard to relax and enjoy.

🏡✨ Akaroa New Build & Pool Installation

We love being part of projects where the pool is considered right from the very beginning — and this stunning new home in Akaroa is a perfect example.

Working alongside the build, we installed one of our Emperor fibreglass pools, perfectly positioned to take in those incredible coastal views. 🌊

Despite the challenges of a sloping site and tricky access, the end result speaks for itself — a seamless outdoor space designed for relaxing, entertaining, and making the most of the landscape.

This beautiful Bermuda Pools installation shows how thoughtful pool design can transform an outdoor space into a relaxing retreat for the whole family.

One standout feature is the Emperor step offset. By positioning the entry steps to the side rather than across the width of the pool, it maximises the usable swimming area while still providing generous, comfortable access into the pool.
