We’re excited to announce the senior teams representing Table Tennis Canterbury at the upcoming National Championships! 🏆

Our players are ready to take on the best from around New Zealand and proudly represent Canterbury on the national stage.

👏 Congratulations to all of our selected players! Your commitment, hard work and dedication have earned you this opportunity.

We wish all our teams the very best at Nationals — play hard, support each other, represent TTC with pride and enjoy the experience!

Great to see our Canterbury Open Team players training together last night, including some of our juniors who will also be competing in the Open Teams at Nationals.

This was the first of our Wednesday Open Team training sessions leading up to Nationals, with a good mix of focused training, up-and-down matches and doubles practice.

It was great to see our senior and junior players training together, pushing each other and preparing as a team.

We’ll continue these sessions every Wednesday until Nationals.

Great work everyone, and thanks to Jaafar for leading the session! 🏓💪

A huge congratulations to our Canterbury player Tim Johnson, alongside Matthew Britz, on making history as the first New Zealand athletes to qualify for the ITTF World Para Table Tennis Championships! 👏

Matthew Britz (Men's Singles Class 7) and Tim Johnson (Men's Singles Class 2) have become the first New Zealand athletes to qualify for the ITTF World Para Table Tennis Championships.

They will be joined by coach John Tuki at the Championships in Pattaya, Thailand, from 13 to 19 November.
