A busy morning at the clubrooms today, thanks to all our volunteers who are helping to get the clubrooms ship shape for the start of season.

A special mention to Curtis Millard from Rural Water Services who we asked to waterblast the front entry walls to the park.

We have remarked the artificial nets creases, moved out the mobile nets and checked all the covers etc.

Golf Day Silent Auction items:

We are greatly appreciative of the three auction items provided for our major fundraiser tomorrow.

Item 1: Mitchell Hay ODI playing shirt signed by full BLACKCAPS squad from 2026 West Indies series. BWCUCC’s very own Mitchell Hay has donated this signed jersey from the BLACKCAPS historic ODI series win, only the 2nd series win in the WI’s in NZ’s history.

Item 2: William O’Rourke Test playing Jersey from 2026 test tour of England. Again donated by current BWCUCC player William O’Rourke who starred in all three tests of NZ’s historic 2-1 series win in England. A rare piece of players kit.

Item 3: Ryan Fox signed golf hat. New Zealand’s 4th major winner, Ryan Fox has donated a signed cap. 2026 Open Championship winner, another rare piece of NZ sporting history.

Great way to secure pieces of New Zealand Sporting history while helping BWCUCC keep cricket on the park.
