Got one solid fish in twizel and about 40 small fish ranging from 1-6 pound. Epic weekend with my mate Josh Holmes who landed some stunning browns and a couple epic rainbows.
So much fun!
All fish were caught using egg rolling techniques and gear we used supplied by:

Took my daughter down to the canals for the first time. What a great time we had! Lots of salmon to the bank with lots released and a ripper brown trout. Not bad for half a days fishing!

Opening day was a great success! 5 fish to the net 10 to the fly and amazing scenery. A shame we had a chopper drop in only a couple hundred meters from where we were heading but still got some great fish and lost a definite double 😢
