We are currently taking school and private group bookings!

Who said you shouldn’t go SUPing in winter?

This was at Cass Bay before the students even arrived for a recent session — and we couldn’t have asked for more perfect conditions!

Calm water, hardly a breath of wind and plenty of sunshine… so good that the students even chose to go for a swim!

Term 3 is almost over, but we still have a few spots available for Term 4. We can run sessions on our standard SUPs or Mega SUPs or a mix of both.

Our most popular venues are:
📍 Lake Rua - great for beginners and younger groups
📍Cass Bay - perfect for games, journeys and groups keen to get wet!
📍Avon River - ideal for journeys and learning about local history, the river environment and the birds and wildlife along the way.

Looking for something fun (and free!) to do with the family these school holidays?

Environment Canterbury have you covered with an awesome hands-on event all about water safety — with the bonus of actually getting out on the water!

You can try paddleboarding, sit-on-top kayaking, jet skiing, or even waka ama — all under the safe guidance of experienced instructors.

Perfect for the kids… and let’s be honest, pretty fun for the adults too!

Aww, a little thank you from the team at SURFable 💙

Horizons Unlimited is immensely proud to support SURFable Sessions, an annual surfing event for the disabled community held at Scarborough Beach in Sumner.

The 2026 event delivered perfect little waves and even bigger smiles, with 40 surfers hitting the water and coming out absolutely stoked with their experience.

An unforgettable day for everyone involved! 🏄
