Congratulations to Mandy Boyd (Elmwood Park Bowling Club) on being named Bowls New Zealand's 2026 Bowler of the Year!

A phenomenal season saw Mandy claim both the Women's Open Singles and Women's Open Pairs titles at the 2026 Summerset National Championships, while her historic 10th national title cemented her place among New Zealand bowls' all-time greats.

A well-deserved recognition for an incredible player and ambassador for our sport. Congratulations, Mandy!

Congratulations to Hamish Kelleher on being named Bowls New Zealand's 2026 Emerging Player of the Year!

After an outstanding season representing Halswell Bowling Club and Canterbury, this recognition is thoroughly deserved. From winning the National Men's Pairs title to earning selection in the New Zealand U26 Squad, Hamish continues to prove he's one of the country's brightest young talents.
