A stunning day on the mountain with 5cm of fresh snow!

The next couple of days looks great to hit the slopes and so does Saturday this week.

Get up here while you can as our last day is set for Sunday the 13th if all goes to plan as the staff will be moving on.

Looks like more snow coming in over the next couple of weeks too!

We are OPEN for the first day of Spring the 1st of September.

The mountain has had a nice wee top of powder snow overnight so it should be a fantastic day to come up and hit the slopes!

The wind has dropped and this morning it is clear with light snow flurries turning into a beautiful day! Clear and sunny with fresh snow.

All main trails are open and will be groomed this morning and off-piste is variable in places so please ride and ski with care.

The lifts OPEN are Learners, Tubing Luge, Paradise Platters, and Cloudy T-Bar.

Chains to be fitted on all vehicles today from the access gate.

See you on the mountains!

After a couple of windy days the snow has held up well and snow has come in this evening!

It's looking like a good day tomorrow and we will be OPEN and will have to wait and see how the snow comes in overnight!

Sorry we are Closed Sunday the 30th of August.

Unfortunately the wind is moderate to strong today which makes it unsafe for us to operate the lifts.

Thanks to all that came up yesterday and made the most of the good weather and spring snow! It was fantastic to see so many families up enjoying the mountains!

It's looking like a good day sunny, clear with light winds and spring conditions.

The groomer was out last night pushing and laying snow.

The wind is dropping and it's looking like a good day tomorrow.

The groomer is out tonight laying corduroy and it's coming up beautiful.

We still have good snow on all main runs and will have the Learners, Tubing Luge, Paradise Platters and Cloudy T-Bar spinning.

Cruise is looking good for a good carve up down Cloudy and we will have spring conditions which is great to learn or to hang out doing laps with the family.

Ski hire, snow tubes and lessons available just book at the office.

No need for chains the road is clear just drive on up!

Still dumping down out at the Terako Basin today!

To be honest the next couple of days are looking a bit up and down and we will update on our status tomorrow morning.

The next good day is looking like Saturday to get up here for a Winter fix!

We are OPEN Wednesday the 26th of August.

Today's weather is Clear and Sunny with light to moderate winds increasing at times especially this afternoon.

The Learners, Tubing Luge, Paradise Platters and Cloudy T-Bar will be open from 9am. Lifts may be subject to wind at times.

The Rope Tows will be on hold and will be assessed but will likely not be open until after midday and on demand.

All main trails groomed this morning, and the snow will be soft and springy from the warm weather.

The road is clear so no need to fit today but always carry chains on the mountain.

Sorry we are CLOSED Tuesday the 25th of August.

We have moderate to strong NW winds in the Terako Basin today making it unsafe to operate the lifts sorry.

Tomorrow is looking much better with the wind dropping and a chance of snow coming in Wednesday night for a top up on Thursday!

It was great to have Waiau School up for their second day this season yesterday with the sun out!

We are OPEN Monday the 24th of August.

Today's forecast is clear and sunny with moderate winds in the Terako Basin.

We had snow fall on and off yesterday with strong winds and the snow will soften during the day with the sun. The wind will be cooler today coming from the west so dress warmly.

All main trails will be groomed this morning for some great skiing and riding.

All lower lifts will be open from 9am but may be subject to wind at times and the Terako Rope Tows will open from Midday on demand.
