We hope to only have to announce this once.
As we have experienced in the past at Hoon Hay traffic is busy, roads get blocked and this becomes a hazard.
This is very important that everyone understands the following;
•Avonhead Road will be operating a One Way system for the duration of the Pacific Series.
•There is plenty of parking around the surrounding areas of Burnside Park. Please do not be afraid to walk down a street or block.
•Any vehicles that illegally park; this means, over yellow lines, parked in a disabled park and not displaying a valid pass, parked over driveways (even if its half), parked up on curbs or any other parking that is a risk to the general public, pleass be prepared to be TOWED at your own expense.
•Traffic Management will be onsite to monitor the closing of Avonhead Road and the surroundings.
•Parking Wardens from the Christchurch City Council will be present to issue any tickets if need be.
•Parking your vehicles is at your own risk, pleass lock and secure all vehicles.
Last year we had several vehicles towed and we will continue this if needed.
