Olympia Gymnastic Sports Gymnastics facility providing the following programmes at all levels:
Women's Artistic, Men's Artistic, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline

Our classes are designed to encourage development in movement skills, while increasing agility, strength and flexibility. Brilliant for body awareness and self confidence. Participants develop and enhance listening, thinking and social skills. Olympia Gymnastic Sports is the only Gymsport New Zealand affiliated Club in Christchurch offering all four codes of gymnastics (Mens Artistic, Womens Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampoline) - from recreational participation through to competitive at national and international level. EXCITING NEWS! We are officially a learning destination for the Children's University🎉

You can earn credits through either our School Holiday Programme (stamp for 4 hours) or our Casual Classes (stamp for 1 hour). You will receive your stamp from one of our coaches on the day.

Our School Holiday programme is running Monday 29th October - Friday 9th October with daily themes and sessions from 9:00am-3:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm🎃🪸🤠

Our casual classes follow the same plans as our recreational classes, with Moveskills best suited to beginners and Gymskills for 8+years or more experienced gymnasts. These sessions take place each Sunday 📆:

Gymskills - 12:00-12:45pm
Moveskills - 12:45-1:30pm

What a great month for all codes and programmes across the club! 💙

Our competitive athletes have officially wrapped up their qualifying season. Congratulations to everyone who has competed! Good luck to our athletes as you prepare for Nationals.

We welcomed students from Villa Maria College into the gym complete their NCEA Physical Education Assessment. It was fantastic to support these students as they showcased their gymnastics skills! 🤸

Olympia hosted our largest WAG assessment day to date as well as our first-ever Trampoline assessment day. It was awesome to see so many athletes in the gym, and we are getting excited for our new season! 🌟🎉

Another great weekend for our Olympia athletes with TCI #4 for Trampoline and South Island Championships in Timaru for our STEPs gymnasts.

We are proud of our athletes and coaches who have worked so hard this season showing continuous improvement and confidence on the competition floor.

Congratulations Bella (STEP 5) for showing true resilience and determination this season with her vault - your hard work has paid off to place 3rd!

Special mention to Shai (STEP 2 under) and Josie (STEP 5 over) who are the 2026 South Island Champions! Also to Maelle, Meg, Jacob, Jarrod and Soul who are the Canterbury Champions in their respective divisions.

What a great last few weekends we have had! We ran our first ever Trampoline Assessment Day and our largest Artistic Assessment Day with 50 gymnasts!

Our STEP 2 and Regional Gymnasts competed at CSG over the weekend where they all had an amazing competition congratulations everyone. STEP 2 Gymnasts competed at the Upper South Island Competition and Regional Gymnasts at the Canterbury Regional Championships🤸‍♀️

Some of our trampolinists also competed at the CSG classic on the 15th and 16th August at the last qualifying competition of the season, congratulations to everyone who competed for your outstanding results 🎉💙
