Lucy danced with AGA before moving to New Zealand School of dance as a contemporary major, graduating in 2021.

After much thought and reflection I have made the decision to step down as Director of AGA at the end of 2025. I feel that the time is right for me to take a step back and start a new chapter with my family and pursue new interests.

I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved at AGA over the last 15yrs and the amazing caring environment we have created for all our incredible dancers past and present to flourish, excel and shine. From our humble beginnings in our small studio in Hawdon St to becoming now one of the most highly respected and regarded vocational schools - we are known for our training, love and care of our students and the success that all of our students have achieved in life and dance.

So with that being said I am incredibly thrilled to now formally announce that Miss Abigail Boyle will be taking over AGA as Director starting in Jan 2026. It brings joy to my soul knowing that AGA will be cared for and guided into the future by someone I care for and respect so highly and who shares the same passion, values and professional ethos as myself.

I will remain as patron of AGA so I can continue to support and encourage Abigail in her new role and to celebrate the school and students continued achievements in the future.

I know Abigail will be an incredible School Director and role model for our next generation of AGA dancers and wish her well in this exciting next chapter.

Congratulates our 3rd and final AGA Graduate of 2025, the beautiful Miss Priya White 💛

Priya started with AGA as a National Coaching Programme student 5 years ago, Priya would travel from their family home in Wānaka to train with us each term at AGA as additional training alongside her main teacher Briony Martin at CentralPointe Dance Studios in Wānaka.

Priya then made the big decision to pursue her vocational training with us fully and moved here to Christchurch to join our Bespoke Full Time programme in 2024 training with Miss Abigail Boyle and our wonderful AGA faculty.

This year Priya moved into our Prosilio Dance and Academic programme so she could focus on her academic studies alongside her dancing goals and after lots of hard work and dedication has had an incredible year of achievements both dancing and academic!

Priya successfully passed her NCEA Level 3 with Excellence, a year early as well attending an amazing three week summer intensive at Alberta Ballet School in Canada which she absolutely loved every minute of 🩷

We are thrilled to announce that whilst in Canada Priya was offered a place with their Full Time Pre Professional Classical Ballet Programme starting in Feb 2026 ⭐️

After returning home and successfully completing her schooling Priya has decided she is going to take a break next year and contemplate her future.

Priya you are such an incredibly talented dancer and so incredibly smart, kind, caring, driven and hard working, we know that you will have an incredible future ahead of you whatever path you choose to take - the options for you are endless!!

You have been such a joy to teach and we have loved watching you grow as a dancer but also as a person - seeing you mature and realise you are capable of anything you put your mind to has been wonderful to be a part of 😀

You are amazing Priya, we love you very much and we all wish you so much happiness and success always and forever!!

Always remember to be brave, shine in your own light and follow your heart 🤍🤍🤍

is thrilled to congratulate our second graduating student of 2025, the very beautiful Bethan Renew.
Bethan successfully auditioned for the Victorian State Ballet Pre Professional Classical Ballet programme and will be joining them for 2026.

Bethan joined AGA in 2024 from the K Dance Academy in Napier and is incredibly passionate, driven and focused. Her versatility as a dancer across both Neo Classical and classical dance is fabulousl! These attributes alongside her beautiful heart, immense talent and incredible work ethic will serve her well in her pursuit of becoming a professional dancer.

Bethan, watching you grow as a dancer over the 2 years you have been with us at AGA has been amazing - you are so so talented, it’s in your heart and soul and without a doubt, I know you have a bright and exciting future ahead of you.

We know you will thrive at the VSB and make the most of every opportunity you are given in order to challenge yourself and to continue to grow as a dancer and performer.

We are so incredibly proud of all you have achieved in your time with us at AGA Bethan, and are so excited to see where your dance journey takes you from here - remember to always be brave, be yourself and follow your heart 💗

Congratulates our beautiful Annalise Robb who will be joining the Victorian State Ballet, Pre Professional Programme in Australia starting February 2026 🩷

Annalise joined AGA as part of our after school programme before moving up into our Bespoke FT programme in 2024. Annalise then joined our Prosilio 2025 Dance & Academic programme for her final graduating year with us.

We couldn’t be more proud of you Annalise, you have worked so hard and remained fully dedicated and committed to your passion and love of dance for all these years and your hard work has truly paid off ⭐️

It has been a joy to watch you grow as a dancer and thrive in our academy, you are such a gorgeous girl inside and out and a much loved member of our AGA dance family 🤍

Anneliese was successful in her pre professional auditions receiving multiple offers from professional schools - she has chosen Victorian State PP programme as her destination school for this next part of her dance journey.

We wish you so much luck for next year Annalise, we will miss you so much but look forward to watching you grow and develop in your new school.
