What an awesome way to finish out a tough season of drifting! No trophies today however the highlight of the day had to be finding 100s of ‘quality’ photos on my phone that my boy took and the yarns with him on the drive home in the drift car!

Definitely had our fair share of things go wrong throughout this season, but it just proved to me how much this is a team effort. Huge thanks to everyone that has supported me along the way, absolutely no way I would’ve made it to 4 out of 5 events without you!

Spectators - Tickets only $20 at the gate.
Kids 16 and under free if accompanied by an adult.
Or get in to Japrace pre event to get a discount. Presale only $15 plus every ticket purchased there gets you in the draw for a prize pack at the end of the season
Cars on track from 10:30am until finished around 4-5pm.
Stick around until the end for the round and season prizegiving and maybe even some celebratory burnouts

It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for skids tomorrow! It’s always the small wins that can take the most effort behind the scenes. I was keen to share the journey we took to take the S13 from bent back to shiny to show how much hard work and talent was needed to make it happen. Enjoy some before/after/during pics!

I was honestly a bit worried after stripping and removing the door/sideskirt, that sill wasn’t looking pretty 🙈

Plan A was to just get it straight enough to align a new door and have it looking alright for R3. We figured another crack at a wof repair would be needed later. But Justin and the team at Blackwells managed to complete a full wof approved repair in less than a week, including painting! I consider myself pretty lucky it even got looked at within a week at this time of year, yet alone fully repaired! Thanks Blackwells P&P!! 🙏

The side skirt was looking like it needed replacing for sure, but Rick at wanted to have a crack at repairing it (and some other fibreglass damage unrelated that needed tidied up). The man knows how to work some glass and resin! Thanks to his help the car is actually looking better than it did going into the season at Rd1 🤣 I’m stoked to be adding the Downforce Customs logo to the car and starting another partnership with a local small business! Go check ‘em out and make sure to ask if you’re needing any work done!

So yea, overall this just reinforces for me that drifting simply can’t happen for me without all the behind the scenes support that family, mates and supporting businesses put into this! I’m very grateful for everyone’s efforts and can’t wait to get back out there and put on a show!

PS. To all those that generously offered doors at reasonable 2015 prices and even those offering just to muck in and help at any point - thank you! You have literally restored my faith in humanity! 🤣

It’s crazy how quick we turned this around. It simply couldn’t have been done without a lot of help from everyone. To say I’m humbled with all the support is a massive understatement!
