We have regular training nights and club runs throughout the year for our juniors (5-15years), youth members (under 19years) and senior/masters (all the rest of us). Our club rooms and track is located in Burnside High School grounds, behind tennis courts on Greers Road. For membership enquiries email: [email protected]

Christchurch Avon wishes to thank the many parents who have requested their children join the popular Summer Junior section of the club. The section is completely full at the moment, and with only six weeks left of the season, we can accept no more young athletes, and recommend you wait until early October for the 2026-27 intake.

Please note that our Club AGM will be held at the clubrooms on
SATURDAY 11 OCTOBER - CHAV POINTS SERIES, AGM & PRIZE GIVING.

This is an official call for remits to the meeting - which are matters members would like discussed and possibly voted on.
These need to be received by the Secretary ( Mike ) no later than October 1st.

Venue: CHAV Clubrooms on Burnside High School site and Jellie Park 1km Circuit

Timetable
1:15pm - Arrive and warm-up for Points Race ( walk-up entries welcome)
1:35pm - Points Race Start
2:15pm - Afternoon Tea (please bring a plate of food to share)
2:30pm - AGM
3:00pm - Points Series and Winter Season Prizegiving
