Tough run against Kererū this week for our men. We couldn't quite find our rhythm and ended up playing at their pace instead of dictating our own game.

Player of the day goes to Jamie. He took on GA for most of the match, completely dominated the circle, and top-scored for us. Awesome job, Jamie! 👏

Plenty to work on at next practice, but the heads stay up and we keep moving forward.

Whero played against Riccarton C team today. The girls worked really well together the whole game, ending with a win 23-21
Absolutely everyone did their job and done it well, everyone should be proud! MVP today goes to Jessie Nimot - she had a great game today, attacked hard and took advice into the last quarter and nailed what she was suppose to do. Well done ladies!!

The A team had a tough game today against second place UC. We've been working really hard on controlling or own game and doing the extra mahi to make it easier, and thats exactly what we did for most of the game. We kept them to an 10-8 quarter in the second which was awesome. After finishing bottom we now get relegated to senior reserve 1, so it is now reset time and time to start showing ourselves and everyone that has our backs, that we know how to play this game and play it well. We start afresh, new goals now, time to shine!!
MVP today went to Caity who was an absolute freaking menace in the defence end, get tips, intercepts and rebounds all over the show.
Bring on next week!!

Poropango had a much harder week this week, with the play by the other team moving incredibly fast. Our team had to work at slowing it down to our speed when we were on attack.
The girls changed up the flow to get it to the circle and got some great go's at goals.
The girls also put into play the practice they'd done on circle work again, using our C's for quick passes to get into better positions.
Our player of the day was Sienna, as she was a very significant part of keeping the ball out of their circle while she was on defence, intercepting it as it came down the court most times. She also worked beautifully in the circle on attack and came away with a couple of goals! An awesome game from her.

Waiporoporo faced a challenging and at times frustrating game today. While there were plenty of moments where the netball looked pretty, we just couldn’t quite get everything to click consistently.

MVP for today was our lovely Leah. Leah shooting well, holding beautifully and confidently sinking a couple of long bombs. She then took on a new challenge with a run in WA, creating space well and offering some great options with strong feeds into the circle.

Year 5 team, Kanapanapa showed determination and teamwork in their second game of the season against Cashmere. Although the girls did not come away with the win (15 - 6 to Cashmere), they played a competitive game showing some great defence skills from start to finish. It was fantastic to see the team using newly learnt skills such as bounce passes and overhead passes to get the ball down the Court.
Player of the Day went to Niamph who showed her skill in the goal circle, shooting some hard shots.
We are proud of their efforts and excited to watch their skills continue to grow over the coming weeks.

This week Kikorangi had a very even and hard-fought game. With a few of our girls away, everyone had to step up and work extra hard, with most of them playing all four quarters for the first time!
The team showed great determination from start to finish, putting pressure on the ball, grabbing some awesome rebounds off the post, and getting some fantastic tips from the centre pass. It was great to see everyone digging deep, supporting each other, and never backing down when the game got tough.
Player of the Day goes to Ella for her outstanding attitude and effort. Not only was she an amazing cheerleader from one end of the court, encouraging her teammates every step of the way, but after taking an impressive knock-down, she showed real courage by jumping straight back into the game. We are so proud of the way you carried yourself and kept giving your all for the team.
Well done, Ella 💙

Our boys were back up against Northern this week, who threw everything at us in the final quarter, but the boys stayed calm under pressure. Thanks to some epic communication, we moved the ball down the court with some absolutely lovely flow, finishing with a 44-32 win to Halswell! 🏆

Adam and Stu are officially becoming permanent fixtures to our Tuesday nights and were amazing once again. Though in classic fashion, Stu found himself taking to the floor a couple of times...what’s new there? 😅🛹

Our defense was absolutely on fire tonight, putting exactly what we practiced into play and even celebrating each other when we got it right! We were also all implementing those fabulous lobs we practiced so much on Monday night—maybe a little too much at times, but hey, you love to see it! 🚀

Player of the day this week goes to Bailey! In only his second game with the team, he was absolute magic. He put our chats straight into action by opening up his vision, executing some great feeds into the circle, and playing cheeky enough to use the opposition to secure us a throw-in! 🧠

We just keep building from here, whānau. The boys are looking seriously good, so come down, join the noise, and support the team! 💪🏻🔴🟠⚫

Today it was the Jellybean Tournament for our young netballers.

A few committee members popped down and watched a bit of the action. Great to see spirits are high, creative outfits and of course the parents jumping in for a run around.

Thank you coaches for organizing your teams. We hope you all had a great day!
