Following the success of last year’s men’s field lacrosse weekend in Wellington (with Wellington, Canterbury, and Te Awamutu Lacrosse clubs), we are pleased to announce that we will be bringing it back this year!

Canterbury Lacrosse will be hosting in Christchurch. Get in contact with your local club to sign up 🥍🥍

Forget about Autumn this year, the teams have been rustling all the leaves off the trees this season.

The Kākā and Tūī are currently tied in points with the Whio just waddling behind.

Only two more rounds before the finals take place, who will take to the skies this year?!?!

Congrats to Liam Dobson for MVP, the top scorers and for those who played goalie, you guys have been killing it!

❗️❗️❗️ EXPRESSION OF INTEREST❗️❗️❗️

It's almost that time of year again for the 2026 University indoor lacrosse tournament. This is an awesome opportunity to represent UC in a fun lacrosse tournament.

Sign up if you are keen to play (even if you are a beginner). We are planning to have 2-3 teams with trials and selections made by the Exec. Don't be intimated by 'trials' this is mainly for the top team whereas are B and C teams are more social teams.

When: 10-12th July (Fri-Sunday)
Why: Super fun tournament!!!
Where: BACK HERE IN THE SOUTH!!!

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...

It was bird and the team announcement!

This years theme is He manu o Aotearoa (Birds of New Zealand). Wear your teams colours if you can! Get creative and try think of a team chant based on your bird!

Here are some important rules for the indoor league. There are more specific rules and explanations in our last email and the teams announcement email (coming later this week).

We can't wait to see everyone there at the UC Rec Centre this Sunday 3pm!

You can sign up on the day if you missed out.

❗️❗️❗️ TERM 2 INDOOR LEAGUE❗️❗️❗️

It's almost here! Our popular indoor social league is back again for term 2.

If you enjoyed our Sunday outdoor league this is similar but indoors with softer balls and smaller spaces.

Starting 26th April running for 6 weeks on Sunday 3-5pm at the UC Rec Centre

This league is $15 to cover court costs but it's for the whole term!

Non-uni students are welcome too, bring your mates!

The venue and time will be posted closer to the time but it will be nearby uni :)

Loved our give it a go session?

Want some more lacrosse? Come and play in our Term 1 mixed social sixes league going till late March.

Starting this Sunday from 3-5pm. Games are around 30-40 mins so you don't need to comit to the whole 2 hours :)

Teams will be released Saturday, more info below
