The most common mistake I see people make this time of year ๐๐ป
There is such an eagerness to start a new chapter that we donโt take the time to close the current one.
We are simply charging ahead blindly. Rushing straight into โWhatโs next?โ. Setting goals and chasing dreams for 2026 before 2025 has even finished.
Itโs almost as if we're in such a rush to turn the page that we drop our pen mid-sentence.
Weโre completely missing the pause. The transition. That liminal space between what was and what will be.
The problem with this?
True transformation needs reflection first.
Without reflection, we are missing the roadmap for creating change.
And if *we* donโt change, then the only thing that will change next year is the date.
Because we will simply keep carrying the same old patterns, stories, and emotional baggage into the new year with us.
So this is my invitation to you:
Let yourself pause here for a moment before you move forward.
To look back on the year that has been, reflect, and find closure.
To look towards the year on the horizon, envision, and gain clarity.
So you can release what you donโt wish to carry into the new year with you and realign yourself for what you wish to call in. ๐ซ
Let this be your permission slip to rest, reflect, and integrate in this in-between season.
Even if youโre over the whole โnew year, new youโ narrative (me too, by the way), the end of year is still a powerful time to reset.
So make the most of this time by making some time for yourself and gifting yourself a little end-of-year ritual. ๐
