We're encouraging schools across Canterbury to get involved and run their own Halberg Mile events. It's a fantastic opportunity to promote inclusion, participation, and physical activity while raising awareness of the incredible work the Halberg Foundation does to support young people with disabilities to access sport and recreation.

Special Olympics creates inclusive sporting opportunities for young people with intellectual disabilities — empowering them to build confidence, make connections, stay active, and have fun through sport. 💙

They run awesome events throughout the year, giving rangatahi a chance to compete, learn new skills, and be part of a supportive community.

What a perfect day for some footy! Term 1’s 9s Carnival was packed with energy, big plays, and awesome spirit from all the teams involved. 🙌🔥
