I'm so excited to announce I will be hosting Deaf Yogalates classes in New Zealand supported by lululemon 🥳

This initiative is all about bringing awareness and bridging the gap between the hearing world and the Deaf world. Giving the Deaf Community opportunities to the wellness space ✨️

Starting the week of May for New Zealand Sign Language week, I will be teaching in Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch! 🤸🏼‍♀️

Feeling so grateful after the Ambassador onboarding experience in Auckland 🦋
Amazing connections, a relaxing evening Yoga class, goal setting with , journaling, delicious food, a 6:30am HIIT class with 🥵, guided meditation by the epic and so much inspiration, connection, ideas and new friendships⚡

I joined a Wāhine Circle facilitated by the amazing at which was so liberating 💫

I also taught a Yoga class in Auckland for the Deaf community and some of them had never done Yoga before, so I felt very honored to share that space with them 😌🙏
Overall feeling inspired, motivated, proud and so excited to see what comes up in this epic community 🥳

Bring your own mat, cushion and water bottle. $20 cash per person. All levels. Gentle Yoga.

New Class in BABS Studio 🥳
Hips & Hamstrings 🦋
We don’t give these muscles and connective tissues the time to stretch, am I right?! (I have tight hammies 🙈)
In this class, we move with the breath and also hold some static postures to really feel the benefits of improving our flexibility and find some stillness 🧘🏼‍♀️
Not just stretching the muscles, but also your tendons, ligaments and fascia. It’s great to work on these areas’s for overall mobility, flexibility, posture, releasing tension, increasing strength and improving low back pain 👌

Do you get triggered sometimes? Things that may not make sense, but it hits something deep in your core? 😱
Trusting these triggers to teach us lessons is one of the biggest things we can grow from 💫
The next time you get triggered with someone or something - it can be small or big - just notice it first. Realize it's there. And then without reacting.. first take a deep breath in ✨.. inhale.... for 5.... exhale.... for 5 😌
Know that it's not a part of you. It's a deeper subconscious conditioning from childhood or an event earlier in life. Now that you have connected to your breath and inner self, respond / react in a way with warmth, love and compassion 🌱
Remind yourself what it is you're grateful for. Remind yourself how much you DO HAVE. And be gentle and kind to yourself. Everyone is doing the shadow work and it's not rainbows and happiness all the time. It's sometimes dark and challenging. Embrace this and keep growing ✨

What does it feel like to be present? ✨
To be fully here. In the now?
You're conscious. Fully aware of everything around you. Just sit and look out at your surroundings and just witness. Witness the magic of the world. Be a bystander of the world going on. How beautiful it is to see it. Being fully here, wholeheartedly with your mind, body and soul.
🧘🏼‍♀️ Do yourself a favour and go outside for 5 minutes and just witness. Notice each sensation of sight, smell, sound, touch. Then after 5 minutes, notice how you feel.
More calm. Peaceful. Present. Content. Happy. Relaxed.
This is what it's like to be fully here. In this moment, right now. That's all we have.
This is life 🌱

Bring it back home to the present moment. That's where the magic is. That's all we have. Is right here, right now. Isn't that beautiful?
You can go back to the past and reminisce all the great memories.. but don't live there. Avoid feeling down or have regrets or "what if's". Come back to the present 🌱
You can go forward into the future, briefly.. to set goals, make plans, manifest and envision your future self.. but don't live there. Avoid feeling worried, anxious or overwhelmed. Come back to the here and now ✨
Go for a walk in nature 🌿 take a moment to look up at the beautiful sky ⛅ smell the flowers 💐 smile at a stranger 😊 sit and breathe 🧘🏼‍♀️ be still and present 🎁 that's a gift 😉
