GRAND FINAL - BULLDOGS 39 - BLUES 85
Unfortunately it wasn't to be.

Full credit to the Blues outfit who were simply too strong and capitalised on some disposal errors and inefficient kicking from us. They deserved the win.

We'd like to thank all the CAFL committee, the umpires, the volunteers, all players, all clubs and the people behind the clubs for their commitment to footy in Canterbury this season. 💪

Player of the Day: Stephan Van Grouting - gave everything in the big dance!
The Dogs are incredibly proud of this season and what we've built together. We'll be back without a doubt. 🐕

Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way. This club is special because of all of you. For those past or presently involved with the club please join us Friday evening for the awards night - message for details.

WE'RE OFF TO THE BIG DANCE! 🏆
BULLDOGS 41 - EAGLES 37

What a tight, closely fought contest! We stood strong against the fast-finishing Eagles outfit and got it done when it mattered! 💪

Some inaccurate kicking and a few key outs had this a little closer than we would've liked, but finals footy isn't meant to be easy!

Player of the Day: Jack Penniket - defensive efforts and leadership were immense! Put a stop to one of the most dangerous forwards in the competition in a tightly fought battle! 🔥

GRAND FINAL BOUND!
This will be the 3rd year in a row the Bulldogs and Blues face each other in the big one. The Dogs are determined to put a stop to the reign!
Time to finish what we started! 🐕

Massive milestone today as our Co-Captain Max Hammett celebrates his 50TH GAME! 🎉

50 games typically takes 5-6 seasons of CAFL - what an incredible achievement! Absolute legend of the club and couldn't be prouder to have him leading us! 💪

Let's send Max into the finals with a bang!

An absolutely elite effort from all positions, keeping the Eagles goalless for the game - this is the footy we know we're capable of! Solidifying exactly where we think we should be as a team!

In the hottest (literally) contest of the year so far, the boys brought the heat on the scoreboard too! 🌡️

Player of the Day: Firthy - Elijah Firth - clinical from the backline and breaking lines with ease! Awesome to see him put on the performance we all knew he was capable of! 🚀

One game left in the regular season - this could get VERY interesting!

DOGGIES GET IT DONE! 🏆
BULLDOGS 88 - COUGARS 25

What a day! Got the win in another battle on AFL Grand Final day! 💪 Several key position trials and movements had us experimenting, and the boys adapted beautifully! Now we've got 3 teams sitting relatively evenly at the top of the ladder - each one as hungry as ever to go the distance!

Player of the Day: Aaron Arnold - this debutant is going from strength to strength across our backline! Putting his body on the line and giving us huge speed and strength on the exit! What a find! Potentially best OFF ground on Saturday too🔥

The Doggies celebrated the victory AND the AFL Grand Final with a massive viewing party and court session in the evening... so yeah, our social media team might have been a bit slow getting this up! 😂🍻

Looking forward to a huge showdown next week.

What a contest! Taking home the chocolates against the previously unbeaten Eagles! 💪 Great battle all day and we found a way to get it done when it mattered most with the Eagles storming home in the last quarter!

Player of the Day: Clancy - absolutely relentless all day and pivotal off our half backline! Putting his body on the line for his teammates and providing plenty of run on the rebound.

Time to make our mark against this undefeated team! They gave us an undeserved pantsing last game but we're coming with an almost full strength squad and ready to show them up! 💪
