A great day for Josh at the Kartsport Canterbury club day. A couple of mechanical challenges but consistent results and good racing across the day saw him finish 4th overall on points and 2nd in the Handicap Race Final.

A big step up into Seniors for the first time today with consistent results through the heats and 4th in the final so a great result

Josh testing today. First time out with a Senior engine

After the disappointment of a mechanical failure last weekend that ended his last Junior race day before it started, it was time to test with a Senior engine today for the first time.
Big smiles from Josh as he set himself a new track PB. Looking forward to his first Senior club race in a few weeks 🏁

A great day out in perfect conditions for the April Clubday at Kartsport Canterbury today. A big field of 12 made great racing. Josh drove well all day and managed to get a PB lap in heat 2 after a setup change. A couple of unlucky moments during the day but a good day to finish 7th overall.

Junior Rotax Heat start @ Kartsport Canterbury Club Champs Round 1

First race meeting of the year for Josh today on the new MG tyres. Things didn’t start too well getting tangled with someone else’s spin in the first heat & ending up with front end damage. Luckily we were able to sort the repairs between races with Josh getting a PB lap time and 3rd place in the next heat.
Great racing continued for the rest of the day finishing 5th in the first round of the club champs.

Something a bit different today with Josh driving in his first Kartsport Canterbury Enduro. The Enduro had a compulsory pit stop where he had to get out of the kart while the mechanic pushed the kart to the pit exit.
The 45min duration for the race was tough when most races are around 10min but lots of fun and more experience for the future.
