I’m guilty of contributing to only posting the 1%… Of my life that is. Mainly sharing on stories only when I’m gallivanting around on some tropical vacay… Giving you the idea that my life is one big holiday, but it’s defs not. Right now, I’m sitting in something that resembles clothing with filthy hair working on my laptop and phone simultaneously… It’s far from glamorous. This is me most days, hustling away BTS.

I am always debating with myself about the why!? Whyyyyy am I hustling? Yeah I love what I do, but what’s the end goal? Freedom? Happiness? I’m in a really privileged position where I have access to both of those now! Like right now… Like I should throw my phone across the room, get naked, dance in the rain and call it a day. But I don’t. Because I still struggle with my self-worth being directly related to my productivity. Because I still feel like I should offer something to the world. Because anything other than that is selfish. That simply being… Is selfish. What the f**k? Yeah… I’m working on it. Aren’t we all?

Consider this a wake up call for both you and I to do more of the living, and less of the hustling xx

There’s more to this than meets the eye…

The science behind sound is fascinating 🤩 And there’s been a pretty impressive amount of research done on it.

You may think we’re just massive hippies bonging bowls (which yeah okay, I’ll give ya that), but we’re also;

⋒ Bringing you into a theta, and sometimes delta state of mind. These are the brainwaves of meditation and deep sleep.

⋒ Recalibrating your nervous system. Easing it out of the Sympathetic NS (fight or flight) and into The Parasympathetic NS (Rest + Digest).

⋒ Bringing stability and harmony to your erratic cells (caused by dis-ease and inflammation from your internal and external environments).

⋒ Balancing your subtle body. Your 7 energy centers otherwise known as Chakras 🌈

⋒ Plus a load of other cool (and very positive stuff).

If you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed about everything that’s happening in the world right now… You’re certainly not alone, and you’re not as powerless as you might feel. If you want to help and do something about the chaos, but don’t know how… Start by helping out your family, friends, neighbors and community. Chances are they’re feeling the same way… Bringing some lightness to their life in any way you can is worth it’s weight in gold. Being a listening ear, dropping off a meal, making a call to check in, sending a caring message, shouting a coffee, offering your help, giving someone a big squeeze or doing any other genuine action of kindness makes a MASSIVE difference. So turn off the news, and focus on the things you CAN do 💖
