Goals are a great way to keep us motivated.
My goal was to reach the next grade in karate by the end of this year and now that I've achieved that, my goal is to recover from a knee injury I sustained at said grading so I can run without pain by christmas.
Goals don't have to be big and you dont have to have a big list of them, but they are so much more motivating if you really plan them out.
My favorite goal setting method is to make SMART goals. Setting goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time specific.
So instead of "I want to lose weight" You might say "I'd like to lose 5kg by January" it's, specific, it has a timeline, it's realistic and achievable and we can measure it. Setting goals like this can help you feel in control of your journey because you know exactly what you are doing and have a plan to do it.
So I'd love to hear from you. What are your goals? How would you like to achieve them? Leave a comment below 😊
