Made the trip to Nelson this weekend with the Midget for the Leigh Marquet Memorial and the Quarter Midget

Small feild of midgets made for some close racing, Heat 1 - G2 - P4

Managed to pull this one out of the bag somehow and take home the feature win!

Bella was logging some solid laps and is still making improvements everytime she jumps in the car, loves the nelson track thats for sure!

Fun fact Isabella is not just a quarter midget driver & motorcross rider she is also a gymnast 🤸 too.

🏁Racing Update - Now In Full Speed 🏁

Brylee has faced her fair share of bike troubles recently, but we’ve turned the page with a major upgrade - A BRAND NEW QUAD !! With the new wheels under her , she’s absolutely flying and finally able to unleash her full riding potential. Watch out - she’s fast , confident and ready to show everyone what’s she’s made of.

Isabella is back in the thick of it on her trusty 125cc quad. She’s powering through the wet & muddy conditions like a pro , getting stronger and faster every ride. It’s awesome to see her having so much fun on the track again.

Craig is taking a season off ATV racing - to focus on the children and his role as a committee member , supporting the club behind the scenes. However he couldn’t resist a cheeky spin on Vanessa’s quad - once a racer always a racer 🫣

What a week!
Isabella’s first Speedweek is in the books after three nights of racing — and what a rollercoaster it’s been!

Night 1 was a round of the South Island Quarter Midget Series. She qualified off Grid 9 but unfortunately got caught up in a crash right off the start and took a decent tumble. Thankfully, there was minimal damage, and she was able to carry on and finish the meeting in 13th. Definitely a crash test for the new KH1 chassis — and it proved just how tough it really is!

Night 2 was the Quarter Midget Best Pairs, where Isabella was teamed up with Brodie Morris. Both of them put in the work, had some great results, and together they took out the 2025 Best Pairs title!

Night 3 was a club night. After the heat races, Isabella qualified off Grid 10 for the Feature. Unfortunately, just two laps in, some contact ahead caused a car to spin out in front of her, leaving nowhere to go. She ended up in a heavy head-on collision. Damage to the steering components meant she wasn’t able to continue.

With two meetings left in the season, we’ll get the car fixed up and ready to go again! Next stop: one of her favourite tracks — Nelson Speedway — for the final round of the series this coming weekend.

Sorry we have been quiet during the 24/25 racing season.

We have had quite the season ..

Craig is gaining his confidence in the midget, we knew making the change from the Modified Sprint at the end of last season he would need some serious seat time to understand the new driving style. It was unfortunate that the start of 24/25 season saw engine issues & a crash or two that knocked his confidence.

As we are nearing the end of the season & engine issues now behind us - Craig is now really enjoying and starting to adapt the driving style a midget requires.

Isabella in the 1/4 Midget has improved majority this season. With a brand new KH1 chassis beneath her. Seeing as this is her second season of 1/4 midget racing we are thrilled that she is throughly enjoying the sport & eager to go racing.

Make sure if you see us around to come and say hey 👋.

We are now heading Into night 3 of speedweek on Thursday 10th at Ruapuna Speedway where you can catch Craig racing the midget then followed both Craig & Isabella on Saturday the 12th.

With the Speedway season fast approaching I’m sure most of you are aware that for the 24/25 speedway season Craig is making the switch to the Midget Class, it has been a dream for Craig since he started racing on the oval and we are stoked to be able to give it a go and see where it takes us!

Along with that we are currently assembling a brand new 1/4 midget for Isabella, her rookie year in her previous car was full of challenges and she adapted well making some fantastic improvements throughout the season, the next step is a new ride to face the upcoming season.

With that said we are looking for some sponsors to jump onboard and help us make these dreams a reality!
