Canterbury Speed Skating CAISC We train short track speed skating at the Alpine Ice Sports Centre in Christchurch, NZ.

The Canterbury Alpine Ice Speed Skating Club is a member of the ISSNZ and is a competitive speed skating club catering to novice level through to elite speed skaters. Our training times are

Monday Off Ice 4.15 (Ice Session 5.15– 6.45pm)

Friday Off Ice 4.45pm (Ice Session 5.45 -7.15pm)

Term 2 skating starts tomorrow, Monday April 20. No ice ANZAC weekend (Friday, April 24 and Monday April 27) so Friday sessions will begin Friday, May 1st.
New members welcome! All ages. We just ask that you have basic skating ability. First 2 sessions are FREE. Send us a message with your name, age, shoe size and when you'd like to come give speed skating a go!
