Well, that was one hell of an experience!

Not a bad effort for our second ever rally and first time using stage notes! gave us a bloody steep learning curve and after battling the dust on day 1 we were sitting 4th in class and 59th overall out of a field of 148 cars!!

Unfortunately on day 2 and stage 10/16 we came off the road pretty bad for my first proper crash. But thankfully it isn't actually too much damage. The wee honda will race again

A huge thank you to my dad Chris Ellis for getting back into the co driver seat after over 30 years since the last time he co drive. He did an amazing job with the notes all weekend even after we couldn't do reece

Another massive thankyou to my mum Jacquie Ellis and Karen and Blair for being my pit crew for the weekend and helping fix the car overnight. Could not have done it without you guys

In light of Mt Alexander rd sprint being postponed and me getting more any to go fast haha. Here's a wee clip of my last time out at Auchenflower rd! Managed a 3rd in class! And my new top speed of 170ish kph 😁

Unfortunate to hear that Round 9 of the WRC 2022 eSports championship has been scrapped due to people cheating. I was feeling really strong and happy with my performance in this round! Oh well, next up is Kenya!

Racing in Belgium went well overall. Happy with my progression after each round of this championship. Was going fantastic in practice but rolled the car a little in the final race run losing roughly 10 seconds finishing with a total race time of 11:26.767. I'm sure if I had more time on my hands to practice and set up/tune the car properly, I could have taken 20 seconds or more off my final race time.

Stoked to have finished 3rd in the 2nd round of EWRC Chile in Sweden last week! Even after a few moments off course. Sweden and snow stages are not my strong suit especially after having very little time to practice and to tune the car correctly. However, personal development of my knowledge and skills behind the wheel is the main goal.

After an incredibly challenging day of practice and racing, the result is not what we wanted. However, I am proud of my time considering I only had 1 day to both practice and race the stages. I will continue to push my learning and development of both my driving and how to set up the car properly
