Broken River is OPEN on Monday. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds today with firm conditions first thing, softening in the sun. The Access Tow is only suitable for experienced tow riders. Please walk to Palmer if you haven't ridden a rope tow before.

Broken River is OPEN on Saturday for a fun-filled day of sunshine and spring skiing. Conditions will be firm first thing, softening in the sun during the day. Although we have had a bit of rain, the coverage across the main basin is still continous. The Access Tow will only be suitable for expert tow riders. Others must walk to Palmer to start their day.

There's a lot going on as telemark weekend kicks off. We have demo Zag skis with AT and telemark bindings to try. Also tonight is a porto and sherry wine tasting evening at Lyndon Lodge. And tomorrow is Club Champs! It's going to be a fun weekend up at BR so come on up!

Phew!!! it's been a wild ride over the last day! 30 cms of new snow fell before noon yesterday and was enjoyed by the tele and uni ski weekers, followed by over 40 mm of rain and gale force winds, but we survived. The Access tow is a little sporty but otherwise we've broken even and raring to go tomorrow!!
