I’m so incredibly proud of my client Lucy πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ
In 5 weeks since beginning her journey with me she has lost 2.5kg with a significant loss of CMS particularly in the chest, waist and hips ranging from 6-9cm πŸ‘Š while adding some much needed muscle mass to the equation Lucy commits to 3x sessions per week PT with me and walks the hills in her area in her own time.
Lucy’s job as a EMT ( Emergency Medical Technician) along with long shift work made healthy eating choices tricky Lucy has gone from 8 years of a notorious pasta addiction daily with easy to grab fizzy/energy drinks & takeouts while on the road she was determined and ready to make a change so here is what we did πŸ™Œ

1) cut out fizzy/energy lift plus drinks and replaced with water Lucy is now having 2.5-3 litres daily & notices the effects when she’s dehydrated πŸ‘

2) replaced the simple carb heavy pasta 🍝 for daiky lunch with no nutritional value leading to massive blood sugar crashes in the arvo hense need for quick fix energy drinks - with a protein shake loaded with berries banana spinach that Lucy has ready to go on her drive to work.

3) replaced takeout πŸŸπŸ” for clean meals that can be ordered online higher in protein Lucy heats while at work for dinner. πŸ₯¦πŸ₯”πŸ₯•πŸ—πŸ₯©

4) A healthy balanced snack of fibre and protein on her last break of the evening around 830ish.

5) personal trains with me 3x per week focussing on progressive overload and sticking to a plan complimented with her walks up the hill in our area in her own time.

* we did not over complicate things this had to fit in with Lucy busy shift work schedule she has remained consistent committed and trusts the process her results speak for themselves she’s an absolute Queen - thank you Lucy for in trusting me to be apart of your wellness journey. I cannot wait to see what’s to come 🫑πŸ₯ΉπŸ€

So very excited to have my lovely client back in the studio - 9 weeks post partum with her wee baby boy in tow - ready to regain her strength in a safe environment focussing on reconnecting to her breath deep transverse abdominals & pelvic floor - the most important foundations helping the body to return to its pre pregnancy state 🀱🏼

3 ladies here with 3 different Deadlift progressions..... young Myffy has her breathing down to a fine art with a big breath in while bracing her core maintains that Inta - abdominal pressure on the ascend helping stabilise her pelvis & spinal column. Jenny's focusing on the lockout with over extending the lumbar spine - which if left unchecked can develop into spondylolysis fractured vertebrae then that becomes weak & slips forwards damaging discs & nerves yikes 😱 this can happen with any form of hyperextension especially in hyper mobile people. Michelle posture has improved dramatically since training with me her focus keeping a neutral spine shoulders back & down with lats active not allowing improper curvature of thoracic and lumbar spine this greatly reduces risk of slipped discs nerve damage soft tissue damage while we lift here or in day to day life. I love seeing improvements of my clients & when they nail technique keep it up ladies your a force to be reckoned with πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ

Proud of my client Mya at today’s Fitness Testing Session not only did she smash all her previous goals she has lost a total of 4kg 4cm from hips & thighs with definition showing on those shoulders and arms πŸ’ͺ she also got PBs on the big lifts Deadlift = 85KG & Squatting =70kg absolute legend solid achievement Mya can’t wait for the next chapter of 2022
