Our Caravaggio gelding breezing up very impressively at the New Zealand Bloodstock breezeup day. Caravaggio is leading first season sire in Ireland and Britain for prize money, already having had a Group 1 winner at Newmarket, and a Group 2, Group 3 and a Listed winner all from his first crop. He looks to be a very exciting sire on the rise.

Kelsey leading out the Vancouver c**t for Woburn Farm. The only Vancouver in the sale, he ran up in a time of 11.02. Beautifully bred and a lovely correct type-he’s a half brother to 5 winners, including a Group 1 winner.

Long day yesterday at the New Zealand Bloodstock Breeze Ups at Te Rapa with being the very last lot on the the course!

Our 6 c**ts and geldings did us proud by being impeccably behaved and all running late 10’s/early 11 second times on a track that wasn’t running fast times with a decent head wind.

Big thank you to Sarah for holding the fort at home/wrangling kids in the morning, Nick and Caitlin for riding and to our fabulous neighbours Cheltenham Stables for letting us use their lovely track last week whilst we were stuck in Level 3 and couldn’t go to Cambridge track!

Thanks also for Danielle and Sam for a stellar professional job piloting as always.

Looking forward to seeing these sell in 4 weeks, with a nice range of young and proven sires, they should do their owners proud.

We’ve been fairly quiet on the old socials lately due to mainly being busy with Ready to Runners.

🐎 Today we took two 3yos to the trials for their first time, and our Super Easy ran home nicely for 4th after drawing the widest barrier and getting right back.

🥇 The Shamexpress/Crookshanks gelding won nicely albeit still being a little green, we expect good things in the future from this horse, he’s definitely got a bit of ability.

Three weeks until breezeups and we’ve got 6 c**ts and geldings to present who are all working nicely and should put their best hoof forward.

We are thrilled to see Caravaggio off to such a strong start as a sire-we have a beautifully bred Caravaggio gelding out of a High Chaparral mare to take to the New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run sales in November, under Riversley Park banner.

Caravaggio’s three stakes winners tops all Northern Hemisphere sires with his 14 winners topping all North American sires of any age.

Her World (2f Caravaggio x Mundus Novus, by Unbridled’s Song) showed exactly why she was given such a powerful name when she romped home on debut to win the Tyro Stakes against males...

Thrilled to see Super Football get his 3rd win in only 8 starts in Hong Kong in the Class 2 Reunification Cup, to bring his winnings up to HK $4,555,500. We pinhooked him from Trelawney Stud and sold him back through Riversley Park draft at the R2R sale. We’ve always had a very high opinion of the horse, he was a natural athlete with a very good temperament. Looking forward to seeing what else he achieves!

How cool are these? Kelsey’s farrier, Jake Barham - Farrier Services whipped these up-stable tool holders and cover racks! The cover rack ones are made from handmade shoes forged from when he was an apprentice. Nice and strong and look the part 👌🏻⚒🔨 he also makes dogs beds from wine barrels which Rocket loves 🐶

Sail, by Rageese (for Windsor Park Stud) was having a quiet educational trial after his last run didn’t go quite to plan. We were pleased with his run to finish 2nd to a very smart 2yo and Vinnie had positive things to say about him, he’ll go for a well earnt winter break now.

We are thrilled to finally have our stables up from England from StablesOnline! Bigger than standard boxes at 4x4m, made from heavy duty recycled plastic. Swing out feed bins and full length hay mangers make feed time a breeze!

Kelsey and her 6yo TB, ex-hurdler Cheval Du Fond have continued their good run of the season with a 2nd in the $1000 Vosper Law showdown class at Kihikihi Horse Trial on the weekend. They are also sitting in 4th place in the NZ Eventing Pro-Amateur series and 6th in the TIES (Thoroughbreds in Equestrian Sports) Eventing series, which is also a nationwide series.

Chevy is lucky enough to be sponsored by Horseychikk's Activo-Med Massage rug, receiving regular treatments to keep his rather large body in great condition!

And the Delago Deluxe also backed up his very impressive trial win from Cambridge with another win today at Taupo, for the fastest 850m heat of the day. He is a very natural galloper and we are confident he will be a nice horse for the future.

Nice to get two winners from two triallers before the trials were called off!

Another win for Rageese/Mi Shari gelding!

The son of Windsor Park Stud Rageese backed up from his trial win at Cambridge two weeks ago, to win at Taupo on a track less than ideal, showing his class. Bouncing the gates and never relinquished his lead, winning by 1 1/4 lengths in the fastest 2yo 850m heat of the day.
