Sparky being Sparky - full non-comprehendo (or as some would say, declining the idea of schooling today!).
We gave up and I just legged Sadie on to get on with things (I had an appointment to get to) - and Sadie said he's not invited to the pub tonight because he's a t**t. 🤭

The jumping today didn't touch the edge of his energy reserves so he went out for a trot of the track (2000m) too. 🏇

Ziggy ticked off a 3rd outing today - on the float down to the Windsor arena for a change of scenery.
She gets lots of gold stars for being relaxed and professional in another new place - not even seeing a hint of any nap now. 👏

Pecan (sold) having his final outing, down to Balmoral.
He'd prefer to llama around if he was allowed, but each ride the discussion about that gets quicker and quicker - he's figuring out if he comes to the party the stressage part is quicker and he gets to move onto the fun stuff - jumping!

Kitty - 3rd ride off the track. She is definitely a bit on the scruffy side (we're washing and feeding her - plenty of both - in the hope we can improve her enough for a half decent standing shot next week.
She's a capable wee unit who is quick to pick things up - vastly improved already in only a few rides. Probably a tad sensitive and not a plod but certainly not ditzy either.
5yo by Almanzor, approx 15.2hh, maybe edging towards 15.3hh but certainly a little dot of a mare.

Chilly - new arrival (in lovely fit condition - unraced but trialled a couple of times, most recently Tuesday this week)...

Chilly - new arrival (in lovely fit condition - unraced but trialled a couple of times, most recently Tuesday this week). He measures 158cm on our stick (shod), and is a 4yo by Royal Ace.

We're told sound and sane but can be a bully in the paddock (so he's fenced off from a mate). Has a bit of a rub on his wither from being double rugged but already loads better after a couple of days so we'll crack on with him next week...

Goose 🏇 absolutely loving his big Wednesday adventure up at Pleasant View.
He was super - loved his splash in the lake, used his brain with the slippery hills, walked out merrily (and look how good his tail looks now that it's not gingery anymore!).
Still heading back to the track but heading back with more skills!

He's way more 'can do' than style - but you can't fault his enthusiasm, and the more he does the more he'll start to use his braincell (singular).
At the moment this isn't his role, but he's going to need a 2nd career if he can't win some more races this season...
