Well I have just about recovered from the North Island titles at Cambridge. Such a massive effort from the Cambridge BMX club to host another super successful event.
Team NBR had a great time with the usual amount of banter and laughter in the tent, we have such a great group of families at present supporting each other to achieve their best. From our personal chiropractor, our holistic healer, coaches, mentors, mechanics, DJs, chefs, comedians to our water fountain creator / emergency plumber we have it all.
Team results; I couldn’t be more proud. Our 2 Mighty 11s performed so well and should be very proud of their racing.
All but 1 of the team making their main events ( 1 crashed in the semi final after being on fire all weekend) we finished out with 9 podiums with two riders taking doubles (cruiser and 20”) stoked to see “Nana Dawne” being honoured with a perpetual trophy for the top performing 16 girl thank you for this honour BMXNZ.
We have 2 more rippers joining the crue so watch out for these 2 trackside soon.
