19-year-old Just Linkin It (Traditionally x Teen A Te) is versatile, consistent and young rider Addisyn Dingwall's ultimate team mate. The pair very rarely return home without a ribbon, and following another successful outing we have named 'Links' as our much deserved Horse of the Week! 😍

What initially started as a temporary arrangement in July 2024 while her main horse was sidelined due to injury, things quickly turned permanent. Trying their hand at multiple different disciplines, together they've collected ribbons at last year's Horse Of The Year in the show hunter section and recently shifted their focus to eventing, recently stepping up to 95cm. Described by Addisyn’s mum as “often finding themselves the bridesmaids”, the pair have big goals of one day bringing home a champion rug. Delivering the victory in the 90cm class at the North Island Secondary School Show Hunter Carnival over the weekend, 'Linky Bear' is a fantastic example of the versatility of the thoroughbred and the power of a great partnership ❤️

On this ANZAC Day, we remember the Australians and New Zealanders who served with courage and sacrifice.

Alongside them were thousands of horses, loyal, brave, and sent far from home. More than 10,000 New Zealand horses were sent overseas, and only four ever returned.

Lest we forget 🇳🇿 🇦🇺

CASHLA BAY scored a deserved victory over 1400m when fresh-up at Riccarton last month and she will attempt to repeat that result in Saturday’s Listed NZB Insurance Stakes (1600m).

The daughter of U S Navy Flag was denied black-type by just one placing when running fourth in the Listed NZB Airfreight Stakes (1400m) at Wingatui on Boxing Day, and she will be seeking to rectify that this weekend.

“She is pretty consistent and honest,” trainer Terri Rae said.

“She had a good win last start, which is ideal going into the mile. She is getting over ground for the first time, which doesn’t pose as any problem. She has got a reasonable draw (6), her work is good and she is fit and well.”

All going to plan, Cashla Bay will return to Riccarton in a fortnight where she will step up in distance once more in the Listed New Zealand Bloodstock Warstep Stakes (2000m).

“We are thinking she should be fine (to back-up in the Warstep), but obviously we will get through Saturday first,” Rae said.

Jayne was one of Seachange's regular strappers during her racing days, and they travelled to the other side of the world together including Dubai and Royal Ascot 🐴🎩
