Finlay Park Adventure Camp We are an adventure based camp that is passionate to give an experience that is Life Changing Every Time! ⭐️🏕️🌿

Set on the shores of the Lake Karapiro Finlay Park was converted from farmland to a permanent camp site in 1946. Since then the facilities have been expanded to have accommodation for approx 200 campers. A number of other meeting areas, and indoor activity areas are available. There are activities available for all skill and age groups either on the water or off the water . Of course fully train

ed staff are available to supervise all the adventure activities. The outdoor activities aim to provide an opportunity for all campers to be challenged at each individuals level and provide each child the opportunity to succeed at challenges presented to them. There are a number of educational opportunities from the Horahora power station study to the nearby Maungatautari Eco Walk. To round out the full experience there is an out camp available for overnight stays and on the way check out the glo worm trip. The Finlay park staff are available to assist you in the planning and requirements for your school camp or other groups camp requirements. Love food, hospitality, and adventure? We need a passionate Catering Manager to be the heart of our camp, fuelling our guests and leading our kitchen team.

Our Mission & Community

Finlay Park is more than just an adventure centre. Our mission is to be a world-class adventure camp showcasing the Love of Jesus and the beauty of God’s creation. You will be an active contributor to our ministry camps, which are fundamental to our core mission and all our other camps.

The Role:
• Menu & Stock: Plan delicious meals and manage ordering efficiently.
• Kitchen Prep: Whip up high-quality ingredients with care.
• Leadership: Lead a tight-knit team to deliver meals on schedule.
• Community: Active involvement in our Christian ministry camps, school camps and wider camp care.
