Please find attached my CV & Cover letter for the position you have available

I’ll start by introducing myself, I’m Gluck Racer and I was born in NZ. When I was younger I took this huge plane over to HK where I raced lots of races, I loved winning and got lots of money!

I have come back to NZ now and want to apply for your position as your new “partner”

I’m very pretty (but I promise I’m not vain) and I look almost black! I’m around 16hh or maybe 16.1hh. I’m not super young, as I am 8 but I have a lot of good times left in me!

I retired sound from racing but I think along the lines I picked up a bit of fluid on my hock, but it doesn’t effect me.

I move really prettily and love to show off, although I am very sensible and can use my brain! I am good at controlling my emotions!

When coming back to NZ I was turned out in a huge grass paddock and just got to sunbathe, run around with my friends!

I am now ready to get my summer body back and start some exercise! I was rather athletic!

I know you’re thinking I’m perfect but I was a bit naughty… when the mean human left me in the yard for 2 days and didn’t feed me the minute I saw her - I started chewing the yard to tell her to hurry up!

The human I’m with just wants a donation to help her keep finding homes for us retired athletes! But we both think finding my perfect human is most important

Anyway I’m in Cambridge NZ - please can I go to my new home in a truck, I think I will be fine with a float but I just have never been on one so I want to take it slowly!

Has been out of work a year but was a great mum, even lived in the garden with her foal!

Lovely movement and I could see her eventing well!

Is a horse that needs feeding as she lost a bit of weight while feeding her baby! Currently putting it back on!

Purebred Connemara, 5yo & 14hh

Just been broken in but pretty straight forward, hasn’t shown any nasty traits and doesn’t seem the spooky type - although can pull faces.

Easy to have around and a good doer.

I can’t ride ponies anymore - but do have plans to breed her, so thought I would see if someone out there wants a quality pony to ride for a while.

She is located in Cambridge 💕

Who wants something safe, sane and super cute? A new best friend?

Rimrock X-Factor is a delightful 15hh, 6yo Purebred Connemara who has a kind temperament with a willing attitude and an affectionate nature.
I really can’t fault him!

X is still green in his schooling and can be a bit wary in new situations, although I have never seen him; buck, rear or bolt. In fact I have not seen him spook (He’s more a plant it type and won’t move if he’s worried!)

He is great to handle in every way, he honestly is a real best friend type of horse - he would stand for hours being groomed.

I see him excelling in a hacking or low level home as he can be a bit on the lazy side (can’t really see him jumping 1.10m) but he could do very well in PC also as he has a great brain on him and doesn’t get hot.

Cabana: 4yo 17hh TB mare. Amazing to handle, one of the sweetest horses I have had. Has had one foal and perfect mum. I think she will be a serious competition horse. 💚 range

Dash: Connemara x TB (out of Cabana) moves very cutely. Has been weaned and about to start handling. 💚 range

X: Purebred 6yo Connemara; 15hh best friend type who is sane, safe and sensible. He is green with his schooling but he’s in his element out hacking!

You both did amazing jobs getting on mounts you had never met! You were super professional and rode both incredibly well!!

Also thank you for doing a great job breaking in my other 2 connie ponies - I’m excited to have my first rides!

Capall Caoimhe & Ajabu WSH -Waikato Equestrian express ODE 💙

What a great show! The Connemaras (well AJ is connie cross TB) did us proud!!

Kweeva (Capall Caoimhe) was awesome - although she tried to trick her new rider (Messina had never sat on her before) that she had no idea how to do flatwork… she redeemed herself by going clear around SJ and XC. I have to admit, it was the cutest XC round I have seen! They ended up 7th overall which is amazing for a combination that have never met each other!

AJ (Ajabu WSH) … well I definitely didn’t give Kelsey the easiest ride (she had not ridden AJ before), although he got 7s in his dressage; he found the atmosphere around the SJ ring a bit overwhelming which led to some pretty extravagant jumps from not paying attention! Luckily he’s very honest! They did a bold XC over some pretty scary jumps! Having a random stop at the simplest jump on course; all the cars directly in sight! He ended up 11th!

Was a super awesome day out and I was so proud of both teams!
