THANK YOU. The Marton Golf Club is a welcoming 18 hole all weather course located 5km off SH3 just outside of Marton. The well groomed course offers 18 challenging holes with some of the best greens in the district. Green Fee players and Visitors are welcome to enjoy the course and hospitality the MGC has to offer.

Tuesday: 9 hole club - 9.30am start
Wednesday: Ladies 18 hole - 9.30am start
Wednesday: Twilight - 4.30pm start (summer)
Thursday: Stableford Comp. - 10.30am start
Saturday: Mens & Ladies Comp. - 11.00am start

Marton Golf Club is in the heart of the Rangitikei.
The course is set on gentle rolling dune country and operates in a rural environment close to the towns of Marton and Bulls, and 20-30 minutes from Palmerston North and Whanganui. The course is an 18 hole, par 72 parkland layout, developed in the 1950s. The course is irrigated supporting consistent fairway and green conditions throughout the year. The club operates with a strong community focus.

THESE LADIES DID IT!!!
What a great bunch of ladies!!! And an amazing selector for the Marton Ladies Golf pennant team.
After finishing top of their division, and playing the winners of the other semifinal,
Marton came out on top with a
5 1/2 to 3 1/2 win.
Congratulations to all involved in the finals. Rangatira team played amazing today and put up a great fight.
Well done to all involved with all the teams, and organizers.
Thanks for a great season!

What's better than a day off work and a fun round of golf? Join the Marton Golf Club on Matariki day, Friday 10th July, 10am start. As well as prizes given for the top 3 golfers in each division, there are also extra prizes given for the bonus 9 Matariki Star holes. These involve different challenges, and the prizes are not always given for good golf! Lots of fun, great prizes and a good day out. Sign up at the MGC or contact Caroline Watson [email protected].

KINGS BIRTHDAY TOURNAMENT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!
A beautiful Saturday saw 80 players in the field. A great success and a fun day was had by all.
Winners on the day, Allie and Cambell Bary 3rd with 41 points, Al Simmons and Ken Westwood( Thomas was present in the photo) on 42 points. Winners husband and wife team, Brendon and Rachel Williams also with 42 points.

A GREAT DAY AT THE MARTON GOLF CLUB…..
Today the ladies played for the Rhodes cup, a trophy that was donated by Cherly Rhodes.(middle) Today’s winner was Shirley Ballard (left) with the runner up Jenny Ritchie. Well done ladies, thank you Cherly for you wonderful donation of the prizes.

What a season!!!! Marton ladies Monday pennant team is into the finals.
Finishing top of the table, after round robin, and winning the semifinals today, with a 8-1 win.
Finals is on the 8th of June at Rangitikei.
Congratulations ladies, Good luck for the finals.

It makes all the green-keepers and volunteers hard work worthwhile!!!

Thanks Marton golf club,
We had a fab time, three days of great golf and mint weather.
I cant imagine how heart breaking it is for your members seeing the course devastated by the storm damage. Despite that I thought it was lovely, really loved the par 3s with the raised greens, very picturesque.
