Big weekend in Ashburton for Ladies day. Alesha pulling double duty day one with Ladies Production and Streetstock classes. Race 1 Productions drew 4 and got a flyer up to second and staying there until late and washing wide on a wet track with two laps to go resulting in two cars passing her but fought hard and passed back on the last lap to get 3rd.
Streetstock Race 1 drew 7 bit of a slow start in a different beast being rear wheel drive, stayed out of trouble home 11th.
Production race2 7th
Streetstock Race 2 Drew 12, probably the best drive of the meeting turned around at the start but fought and drove well to get 3rd đŸ„‰missing a lot of carnage.
Productions Race 3 got a great start running 3rdđŸ„‰but got tankslapped in turn 2 second time around resulting in her dropping to the tail 10th place.
Streetstock Race 3 drew 8 good start up to 6th but passed by a couple late 9th place.
Day 2
Only streetstock for Alesha and the girls certainly liked playing rough.
Race 1 drew 7 caught up in a big tangle turn one broken bottom ball joint DNF. Thank you Ivan and Bailey for the help to get us back out👍
Race 2 drew 12 a little rattled after race one just stayed out of the rough stuff home in 8th.
Race 3 drew 8, good start but stopped on the back straight for a sideways parked car resulting in a massive shunt from behind resulting in rear bumper being inside the boot after ended up 12th or 13th after that but drove hard and fast to get up and finish 5th.
Overall results
3rd Best pairs
8th Ladies Production
8th Ladies Streetstocks out of 20
Great weekend with great people and a hell of a lot of fun. That’s a wrap for the season for both 25c and 84c and a couple of new builds in the pipeline to keep things interesting. Thanks everyone for you support through the season and we’ll be back bigger and better next year.
Big thanks to everyone that’s helped in every way there is and our sponsors for this season.

So big weekend coming up 2nd/3rd May with Ladies Raceday at Ashburton this Saturday and Sunday. Alesha doing double duty in ladies streetstock and production classes on Saturday, streetstock only on Sunday. Should be an entertaining couple of days racing for the ladies and good to see a field of 20 getting underway and racing.
Big thanks to all our sponsors this year for making it all happen and keeping up up and running we can’t do it without your generous support. Will do an update and damage report after the two days racing đŸ€Ł

Finally had a chance to get the the cars back out to race at ESS last night for their Open Club Championship for both Production Saloons and Streetstock classes. Alesha drawing pole in her first race for 3 months she was should we say a little nervous but held her own and started to come right with more laps under her belt. Race 2 had an electrical issue meaning a DNF. Race 3 started at the back and showed a lot more pace and fight as she put more laps in. Muffler came off and got run over meaning a trip to Richmond Radiator and Exhaust Specialists to get a real exhaust sorted instead of what it had. She got a start in the 20 lap feature coming home in 7th with a new pb lap time for the night so overall a good night for her.
25c Streetstock drew pole in first race got a good start and had an amazing battle with 15E but brought it home for the win🏁. Race 2 started from 5 got caught and spun but got home in 3rd. Race 3 started off 7 got a good start and chased 15E hard but couldn’t get him coming home in 2nd meaning 2nd overall in ESS Open club championship.
No major damage or problems so a great night even winning the 50/50 raffle (Thank you Ella for selling the winning ticket!👍)
Big thanks to #1 Pit boss Bailey for your help, Grandma for your support and video commentary and all our sponsors .

So was first night of NZ title last night. Unfortunately things not going to plan with getting caught up in a tangle receiving an outside flat meaning a DNF in first heat then on way in losing all power to the link computer and frying a few wires meaning our shot of qualifying over for the title. Not a quick fix ether so out for second nights of racing also. Thanks to everyone that helped on the night but unfortunately that’s motorsport. Big thanks to my sponsors to get us here sorry we couldn’t fly the flag higher.

Well we had out trip to Nelson pre nationals for a run after fixing the car to see all was good. Didn’t start to well with a problem with the trailer of Aleshas car in Culverdun to start with but a roadside removal of axle and fix it job got us going with under an hour delay and no smoking wheels this time.
Night was so so for both of us th streety handling well in the first one but got spun a couple of times or ending up in other mayhem that was happening on the track. (Sorry Perry and Cody). Overall happy few things to fix but we’ll be there for the Nz title on 9-10th January in Nelson again.
Alesha had a good first race until a racing incident meant she flew for abit was lucky not to go over and backed into the wall with a little crunch. She was fine and no real damage done so fired up and finished. More laps and she’ll come right. Maybe the Glen end of January for her next start.
Wishing everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year from the Nasty Racing crew and a big thanks to our sponsors

So Alesha’s first night of the mentor program for new drivers meant being in the grid draw. Bit of a steep learning curve when you draw pole for your very first in grid draw but she handled it well. Held position but spinning on lap two putting at the tail. An accident involving a couple of other cars meant she could close up the gap and fought hard dropping her lap times ended up 6th of the 13. Race to midpack draw and ran a good race again dropping her pb finish 6th. Last race from the back staying intouch with the pack a couple of little mistakes meaning she dropped back slightly but again lowered her pb lap time finish 6th. 6th overall for the night. Big thanks to Bailey and Liam for helping out on the night. Time for Doug to fix the dents and broken exhaust but she’ll be back out for more in a couple of weeks. Video in comments thank Trish👍

Alesha had her first full meeting at Eastern States Speedway on Saturday managing to keep all the gremlins from rearing their heads and finishing all 3 races without anything major. Starting from the back hopefully for the last time she did well putting in some good laps and slowly getting more confident in the car and how it handles. She managed a 12th, 13th and a 10th in the last heat which was great in the 16 car field for her first real meeting. Really getting into it in the last heat was good to see and she’ll only get better with time in seat. Being best pairs and paired with Phil Taylor 22E they finished all their races and ended up 4th overall for the night so an amazing effort. Off to Woodford Glen on Saturday for fireworks night for the 84C car, the streety still a work in progress but getting there and be out again soon.
