Nelson is hosting a van tournament. There were loads of people at our club's van tournament earlier in the year with a fun filled day, so looking at heading over there on Sunday, 7th December for a get together!

New Zealand National Judo Championships 2025 Results

Blenheim Judo Club entered just three competitors and won 4 medals today!

Congratulations 🙌

George - gold 🥇in Junior boys under 24 kg

Tom - bronze🥉 in Senior boys under 50 kg

Oli - gold🥇 in Senior boys +66kg and bronze🥉in the open weight.

Thank you coach Robert, Simon Etheredge and Taylor Tian for all your efgorts in attending and hard work on the day.

Good luck to all going to the NZ National Judo Championships

You can be an Olympic champion or
a world medalist, but for me you remain
an apprentice
because a whole life is not enough
to learn everything, and when you refuse to look
at others or learn from others,
that’s called ego and that’s what kills us... if you think you know everything
so you don’t take from others
it’s still ego because only God knows everything,
you will always remain
an apprentice if you want to be better
I am an apprentice and I will stay like this until I die 🙏🏻

It was a pleasure and a privilege to welcome Joyce Malley, 6 Dan, to Blenheim Judo Club last night. A very unassuming judoka who took the senior class through a fair learning curve. Lots of new ideas and small innovative nuances to improve our judo. Thank you Joyce.

Five golds, two silver and two bronze!!! Fantastic haul of medals by our Blenheim Judo Club judoka attending the South Island Championships this weekend at Motueka. We're incredibly proud of your achievements, well played, well deserved! Thanks to Motueka for hosting such a great tournament.
