🤽‍♂️A first for Marlborough Boys College Water Polo! 🤽‍♂️

A very special milestone as we celebrate the first-ever Marlborough Boys College Water Polo caps.

Congratulations to Fynn, Will, Hugo, Leon, Seb and Scott on being the first players to receive their MBC Water Polo caps. 👏🏆

Scott couldn’t be there for the occasion.

A massive thank you to Pat, who since arriving at MBC has put so much time, energy and passion into growing water polo at the College. His work has helped create opportunities for more boys to get involved, develop their skills and represent their school. These first caps are a fantastic recognition of the programme he has helped build.

It’s a pretty special moment to see water polo continuing to grow at MBC, and we’re excited to see where it goes from here.

🤽‍♀️ A huge thank you from Marlborough Water Polo Club! 🤽‍♀️

MWPC would like to say a massive thank you to Canterbury Water Polo for hosting the U16 Preparation Tournament last weekend! 🙌

It was a fantastic event and a great opportunity for our young girls to play against some new teams, learn heaps, challenge themselves and, most importantly, have fun in the pool.

A special thank you to the 5 Canterbury Water Polo players who joined us to make up a combined squad. Your help both in the pool and at the table was invaluable, and we really appreciated you girls jumping in and giving us a hand.

Thanks also to Otago, Hawke’s Bay and Sea Wolf for making it such a great weekend of water polo.

We really appreciate everyone who helped make the tournament happen 💪🤽‍♀️

Congratulations to Poppy Clark on her selection in the New Zealand U18 Women’s Water Polo Team for the Australian National State Water Polo Championships in Melbourne from 29 September to 3 October.

It’s also great to see former Marlborough Water Polo player Koko Wong named in the squad.

We wish Poppy, Koko and the rest of the New Zealand team all the best for the tournament. 🇳🇿👏💪
